July 28 Sorry HuwbertI just read thru my comments and Huw put a sad face cos of something i wrote :( Sorry huwbert, i didnt mean anything against you. I just meant that computers are incredibly boring. Which probably has a lot to do with the fact i'm not clever enough to understand them.... 80's CRDLast night was our 80's CRD (That's common room dance, for all non college people) It was lots of fun. I dressed up as Gene Simmons from KISS, a costume that turned out quite well if i do say so myself. I'll have to get pictures from Talita's camera, and other people and put them up here so you can see.
It was a night of bad fashion, drinking and dancing. It ended about 12am, after which some people went out clubbing. yuck. I went and watched Donnie Darko in Doug's room with Talita and Rex (and Doug...he does frequent his room occasionally) And went to bed...well a Donnie Darko length after 12am i guess. I'm so glad i decided to go to the 12pm Physics lecture, instead of the 9am one. I may have died....
Anywho, it is not 11.24am and I should probably leave to go to physics in the next 10 mins or so.

THoughts for now? Ryan is going soft in his old age. He is going round hugging people and being nice and calling them beautiful. it is MOST alarming. Something must be done. Valese and I dont know what yet...but it will be done.
Went and saw The Da Vinci Code last night with Mark and various trinity people. We were waiting for cake and missed the first minute of the movie. It wasn't vital was it? Fortunately i have a terrible memory, so i quite liked the movie. The only trouble with having Tom Hanks as the main character is that i can't think of him as Richard Langdon, i can only think of him as Tom Hanks. Otherwise a good movie.
David came over last night looking for his shoes. If you have them of know of their whereabouts, could you please contact them.
Still no sign of what i was Actually going to talk about. BIt of a shame really. . . . And possibly going to civic on thursday, so for all you party animals (that are reading this...hehehe. yea right) i might see you there
July 03 TicketsI am holding in my hot little hand 11 prebought tickets to Pirates of the Carribean!! woo!!! (and by hot little hand i mean they're upstairs on my dressing table) And cheaper than expected too, only $11.50 each. YAY!! June 30 ColdI am sitting here freezing my toosh off. Just thought you would like to know.
I finished my work experience today. Got to watch a desexing, that was intersting and a dental surgery. I've decided i dont really want my wisdom teeth out after all. I still want to be a vet, in case anyone is interesting, doing work experience just made me more enthusiastic about it.

If you're all (all being like...2 people) interested, the cat had surgery today to have a pin put in its leg and clampy things sticking out the sides to keep it straight. As expected the cat was cranky as hell when she woke up. She was still a nice little cat tho, just in a lot of pain. Burmese seem to be a nice breed.
I'm still dying of my cough, but i'm still going out tonight, to a pub with ryan and valese and tandy. Should be...interesting. It is doubtful i will drink tho that is more to do with budgetary concerns than moral/religious/health ones. Perhaps i can convince someone to buy me a drink...hmm...
Pirates of the Carribean 2 comes out on July 6th. We are going on July 7th at 12.30pm at Tuggeranong. It goes for 2 1/2 hours. If you are interested and havent been contacted (chances are I've tried) I'm prebooking tickets tonight or tomorrow morning, so if you want one you'll have to contact me before then. Or ask my mum if I'm not home. Tickets are $12.50 and you can pay me back on the day. June 28 Dear AmarkTsk tsk tsk. Making rude comments about my blog on other peoples blog. How could you. I'll check if it is public, on the off chance someone may like to read it. Don't see why, its not cool and random like Wade and Huw's blogs, mainly cos my random moods don't correspond with my blogging moods.
Work experience is fun. Learning how they take x-rays and do blood tests. We had a whiny dalmation, a cat that jumped off a 3 story building and now has a very broken leg, a grumpy foxie and a diatetic cat. I never knew how much work the vet nurses actually do relating to the surgery. They do dental work, set up the surgery, make sure the animal doesnt die under anesthetic, put in IV's, heaps of stuff.
Does anyone know if I'm doing anything on the 13th of july?? the date sounds really familiar, but i can't remember for the life of me...

Well. i'll start from now and work backwards. I'm doing work experience at Weston Creek Veterinary Hospital at the moment. It is really interesting when something actually happens. We had a dog with pancreatitis, but she's better now, a lame cat, a little puppy that had to be put down :( um....some more cranky cats...a lumpy dog...thats all i can remember. During surgery i get to take readings and stuff. The rest of my time is spent wandering aimlessly or cleaning.
On the weekend was the raiders game...we WON!!!! I pissed off several people around us with my yelling, but it worked!!! Take that roosters!! made my cold worse tho...
Before that I was in Melbourne, it was exam time. It sucked. i was very very sick, and had to apply for special consideration for some of my exams. Stupid stomach... The doctors were useless too, it could have been an ulcer, gastro or gallstones (Caitlin's fault) I have no idea how i went on my exams, i'll Know on the 12th of July. How i went also determines if i do supplementary exams and when i go back to melbourne.
Ok that seems like enough writing for now. too long and people will give it to insomniacs for bedtime reading. heh. like when huw starts talking about computers. "Blah blah blah CPU blah" "zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz" February 24 MelbourneThis is my first report from Melbourne. O-week at college has been insane. Nothing to do with Melbourne uni, Whitley college is the place i'm staying at in Melbourne. hey....why does it say this entry is in at 6.31am when it's really 7.31? ah the mysteries of life. O-week involves meeting a HEAP of new people (very few actually from melbourne, none from canberra) and being abused and publicly humiliated. mostly in pretty funny ways. It's like hiking, now that the end is near, i can see how fun it was. But when it was 12am, had to get up at 7am the next day, been doing activities with people all day, it gets a bit much
AND, i swear these people dont sleep. how can you get home at 4am and up at 6am??!? We had some disgusting challenges yesterday,for my part i had to eat tongue (couldnt....taste like beef but the tastebud texture. . . ) And do jelly wrestling (after being oiled up) at the end was a MASSIVE food fight. With the challenges, whichever team loses gets ponded in the morning
We haven't been ponded (ie, grabbed by ankles and wrists and dumped in the pond) as a team, but i got ponded twice on the first day, once for not having a hat and 2nd time for shaking my hair and wetting all the leaders.
right now i have to study for the "Fresher exam" You know all that crap you get in your school diary bout rules and times? have to study that.

Irritating people February 13 PackingI've been packing to go to Melbourne for about a week now. I swear i never knew i had SOOOOO much stuff. Even with only the essentials, i have a box, a full case, and about a third of my stuff left to pack..... Should be fun. Wish me luck, I leave on Friday. February 07 Moving away10 days til i move!! eep! not as bad as kylie and lou, who are moving on friday, now thats scary. But they're only going to wagga, thats not too far away
I'll have to send you all letters from my new address as soon as i get one, i'm not sure if i get a uni one or one at the college i'm staying at. I think you should all be readin Mark's blog, its great, its more like a fantasy story that comes in frequent installments. That reminds me, check web comics:P

February 06 Good adviceNote to all readers. yes all 2 or 3 of you. Don't scratch sunburn!!!! that is the advice that has risen from my experiences today. You'd think i'd learn....but every single time i get burnt i think "ooh itchy" and scratch it.

I do the same thing over and over with my computer, expecting the SAME outcome and more often than not i am BETRAYED and it does something completely stupid for no apparent reason. (well, reasons that are apparent to people like huw and mark and not people like me) January 31 Stupid MsnApparently (says Nikki who i ran into at the shops and knows all about this stuff) msn has done weird things to msn spaces and no one is able to add pictures at the moment.... or EVER. which is a shame cos i like looking at peoples pictures, and you may have found some of mine somewhat interesting. Alternatively you could email me and i could send them too you. FLOPwell that attempt was a spectacular flop. I click "ADD PHOTOS" and SUDDENLY!!! nothing happens. All of you (i.e. the one person who may ever read this page) dying to see the gingerbread house will have to wait til I come back with reinforcements (technical support in the form of some computer nerd like Huw or Damo)
WelcomeIt is 2:11 in the morning, i'm hyped up on caffeine and sugar, and all my friends on msn have gone to bed. So i figured this would be the perfect time to set up a space. Not that i think people care what i write in my blog, but other peoples are interesting, especially photos and profiles.
OK now that i've actually figured out how to change the look of this thing...now what?...well i'm hyped up on sugar and caffeine because i drank red bull while driving back from sydney and i ate fudge just before.
i was driving to sydney to drop off luke, james and dale. They are my friends (Luke is also my cuz) and I wanted them to be at my 18th birthday party on saturday, so i drove up to sydney and back on friday to pick them up and then did the same today (well, yesterday) to drop them home.
i had fudge because my friends Mark and Michaela made me the most AWESOME gingerbread house for my birthday present, and the ground was fudge and the lake was jelly (if i can figure out how to add pictures, i'll show you. go check. NOW!) but mark needed his tray back...so there was no choice for me but to eat the jelly, then gradually eat the fudge. there's still a little bit left in the fridge.
I'm not 18 yet by the way...but i will be tomorrow. I shall have to make the next blog entry a bit about myself...so people have some vague idea whats going on. Nikki is right, this could be fun. Going to attempt foto adding now
